AL AHYHAA
is a quiet new and developing district north of Hurghada city, It is located farther south from the new El Ahyaa. The area is known for high winds in the winter but has beautiful beaches which are mainly free access for the public to enjoy. There is a small percentage of native residents within Al Ahyhaa as the area is still under construction with new hotels being built each year. You can find a small range of apartments in beautiful modern resorts which have access to the sea and in complex swimming pools for the owners. Although Al Ahyhaa is further out from the city, El gouna town is located around a 5 minute drive where you can find your attractions, entertainment, nightlife, supermarkets and promenades all in one place.
INTERCONTINENTAL
is a calm and quiet area. It is located south of Hurghada international airport and at the end of the promenade walking area (Mamsha). There are many high end hotels located within this area such as the Hilton resort and the Grand plaza. Within a 5 minute stroll you will find yourself at one of the most popular beaches. As this is one of the prime locations you will find your everyday needs on your doorstep or within a short walk away. Intercontinental is one of many areas that is best for investment when buying property as the area is still under development and in a centre location. it consists of both inexpensive and luxurious apartments starting on average from $400 per 1 SQM.
EL KAWTHER
is a city neighbourhood that has Mubarak 2 and 6 as its borders. It is one of the high investment areas in real estate for western Europeans. As this is a centre location your nearest beach is around a 10 minute walk away although it is known to be the top tourist spot in Hurghada. The area has a wide range of shops, banks, Beauty salons, restaurants, nurseries and international schools. Public transport links are all connected to El Kawther meaning you can locate to anywhere within a few minutes’ walk. El Kawther is considered to be one of the most laid back areas of the town, designed for recreation and is a very well developed district. It is specially designed to suit the foreign residential environment and properties are also available for purchasing or renting whether it’s a individual building or within a complex. Just 5km away you will find the airport and within a 10 minute walk you will find yourself at the district El Mamsha.
mUBARAK 6/mAGAWISH
is a known area for villas. Some of the villas are separated into individual apartments with their own entrance and gardens. Within this area you will find mini markets, pharmacies, Russian and British nurseries and the sea which is around a 5 to 10 minute stroll away. There is easy access for transportation which can take you direct to Senzo mall where you can find all your needs. The best residential complexes are Lucky stars and Magawish paradise, which benefit from some sea coast views.
MUBARAK 2
is located opposite to El Kawther. You will find mixed nationalities in this area, many apartment buildings and no hotels. The apartments varies in size from 73 sqm to 104 sqm with studios around 55 sqm on ground floor only. The apartments are very similar in price, size and layouts throughout this district aswell as the houses. The houses are mostly five-floors with great space and great prices. The Area itself is clean and quiet and the advantages are almost the same as El Kawther but without the higher price tag. Inside the district you will find shops, schools, cafes and kindergardens which is great for a relocation spot.
HADABA
is one of the oldest and largest districts in Hurghada. Here you can find some of the first housing developments built. Due to Hurghada improving and newly getting built up, some of the buildings within this area have been reconstructed. Old houses were demolished and new ones were built in their place. There is also a number of modern complexes with swimming pools and facilities for owners to enjoy. The area is very convenient, situated along the coastline, the maximum distance from the shore is no more than a 10 minutes by walk. The area is very popular with foreigners as it has all the facilities, shops, supermarkets, cafés and beauty salons not forgetting a large choice of beaches. Within walking distance you can find yourself at Sheraton and Marina which is 2 of the top touristic spots in Hurghada. For property investments Hadaba is a great choice. you can find flats with a sea view or with a side sea view and the cost starts from around $300SQM.
ARABIA
is a quiet, peaceful area. It has very little attractions and nightlife, although it only takes around 5-10 minutes to get to the city centre where you can find everything. The main population are Europeans, Russian speakers and locals. Arabia is a relatively new area with quiet streets and dense buildings, Although it is well developed with shops, pharmacies, laundrettes, offices and some prime view luxury apartments overlooking the sea. In part of the area you will find a lovely promenade. The location is good for property investment as it is relatively cheap. Arabia is developing rapidly and new residential complexes are appearing. A great investment opportunity to buy in instalments or as an early stage of construction for a lower price. Demand is high and the area is very easy to rent out.
DAHAR
is a large district in hurghada. It is the oldest part of hurghada and is also known as ‘downtown’. Dahar is the Egyptian local area where you can discover the culture and your traditional shops and markets at the lowest prices. It has very little hotels and night life but is famous for its fruit and veg markets and local shops. Most administrative buildings are located there such as The passport office, the city administrative, the court, the police, the general hospital, the library, the central post office and the house of culture. You can find an orthodox Coptic church along with old and new Mosques. From Dahar there are buses to El Gouna and Safaga and also regular buses to Cairo and Alexandria.
SaKaLLA/SHERETON
is located south of downtown Hurghada and not far from the airport. It's a busy and noisy area, where crossing a road is an experience itself. If El Mamsha is for tourists and Dahar is for locals, the Sheraton area is a mixture of both of them. This district is centred around the old harbour with plenty of walking passages . Sheraton is a dynamic area with many hotels, shops, currency change, ATMs, shopping centres, a cinema, banks, grocery shops, pharmacies, McDonald's, KFC, clubs, restaurants and much more, all of which are open late into the night and are visited mainly by tourists. There are also a few side streets by Sheraton Road which are worth visiting. One of them is sherry street where there are lots of shops (most of them have fixed prices). It's also a very popular place to spend evenings amongst Egyptians and locals. Budget accommodation can be found in Sheraton and El Sakala. Beaches in this area are not free of charge. The most popular area is the marina boulevard, the fish market and the huge Gomla supermarket.

NEW EL AHYHAA
is the northern part of Hurghada. In this area the resorts are large complexes similar to a hotel with internal infrastructure (swimming pools, shops, gyms and aquapark). Lodgings are different in class and architecture from all of Hurghada. big compounds are being created with amazing swimming pools. The price range starts from $12000 per studio. The area is just starting to develop, there is not much infrastructure, but the big plus is the open coastline and free beach for all residents of the district. There is also a lovely promenade along the beach.
MARINA BOULEVARD
is a small 800m stretch of land, fenced on three sides and the sea on one side. It is a clean and safe place with a fantastic atmosphere. This amazing sea view boulevard is located next to the Sheraton Road in the area called Sakala. It’s perfect place for an evening stroll with family and friends. It consists of several floors, the ground floor is uninhabited but there are various shops, restaurants and cafes. From used for mooring yachts, most of them are private, but also there are yachts belonging to tour companies. The promenade is a pedestrian zone. There you can not only take a walk, but also taste different cuisines of the world, Thai restaurants, Indian, Italian and Nubian.
